So, I was away over the weekend (a little plus) for a family party and for my college registration. The family party was cool, I wore tie-die and saw Chris and Heidi's house, it was nice! hahaha It's weird to see them married... even though I'm used to it, they've been married at least six years. It's just weird seeing them have a spice cabinet together. Hahaha, that's just me I guess. It makes me happy!

When Erin came over, we shopped and such... and I bought some hair dye. It was supposed to be blonde-er... but my hair is funky and it came out lighter but reddish... but not too much lighter... and a lot more reddish. Whatever, maybe I'll put highlights or that cheap lightening Lorel or whatever moose stuff in o_O

But anyways, my college orientation went pretty good. I signed up for my classes, and THAT was a frickin' stress load. [Background: What I want to do is classified as "Multimedia" at my college, and I won a Fine Arts Scholarship. Because Multimedia, though it is an art, is classified more as a communication, if I switched majors, I could lose my scholarship.] All in all, the academic advisor said if I did a double major, as long as one was fine arts, I could keep the scholarship. So, that was really my only choice. So, I'm doing a double major! Multimedia and art, baybee. OOOOOH YEEAAAAAAH.

I am taking:
Art 101 -> aka Drawing 1
Art 105 -> aka 2-D Design
Art 140 -> aka Art History 1
MM 131 -> aka Intro to Multimedia
EHS 120 -> aka University Experience
COM 103 -> aka Oral Communication

So, SWEET! Right? I had to boot one gen ed, but I plan on doing summer school at the junior college at least once, and they said my schedule might clear up next semester. But, I am on an excellent start! I just want my gen eds done by senior year. Orientation was pretty fun! I met a bunch of cool people, I hung around with Devi, she found a roomie, I ran around with a buncha people at obscene hours... and we watched really weird wrestling movies in the lobby... but JEEZ, it was a blast. At the end of the last day, we went to a park and we all played softball, and Holly and I played volleyball. The food was pretty good over the weekend; especially on that day, we had hamburgers. My group ran around and made a movie about the "Top 10 Ways to Get Money from your Parents"... and whoa baby! We wacthed this Improv group the one night called BBQ Kittens or something, and GOD they were funny. Better than Whose Line at points. fo' REAL. I met a bunch of people, I got a bunch of FaceBook accounts... It was just a blast, I can't wait.... I'm gonna miss my parents, though, not gonna lie.

But yes, I didn't let you guys know, so don't think I was ignoring you all or anything! Just let me sort through these... one hundred.... and forty. three. messages.
