Artist's Comments

Another product of my boredom and sickness.

Alrighty, here's the run down.
* 1 1/2 hours to draw
*45 minutes to outline/make lineart
* 2 1/2 hours to ink

My version of the Jabberwock... look at the jaws that bite, the eyes of flame, and the claws that catch! My Jabberwock has leathery skin (I hope I did a good job implying that with the pen), and spike running along its back and tail. There are also some spikes on its leg. It has spots running down it's side and along its tail, and who says the Jabberwock can't have stripes? It's not real, I'll make it however I want :) It has stripes on its chest, legs, and arms. Striped tongue (kickin')... I really like how this turned out, mainly because no matter what I did, it could NOT be wrong! It's MY own creature! :w00t:

I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to comment! BTW, I used T-Rex feet as a reference for its feet... shh!

Oh... wow. Just. Wow. I love the shading. This is incredible if you drew it totally out of your head! :::: Runs to go dig out pen and ink supplies from desk :::

Yeah, wow I remember having to memorize that poem in 6th grade. ah... good times.

I know, that one just looked too.... goofy, for lack of a better word. Carroll is so descritive and paints such an ugly picture, I was dissappointed to look up Jabberwock and see that other thing D:
